Sogetsu Ikebana Exhibition "Words into Flowers"

11 “words or phrases” will be themed at this exhibition. Exhibitors will interpret the thoughts encapsulated　in the words and try the expression of the words through　ikebana. The exhibition is designed so that visitors can also see the words and while　feeling the thoughts expressed in the words, be guided to a deeper appreciation of the arrangements. 

Dates:               June 7 (Thu.) - 12 (Tue.), 2012 

                         First Term: 7 (Thu.) - 9 (Sat.)

                         Second Term: 10 (Sun.) - 12 (Tue.)

Time:                 10:00am – 8:00pm

                            (Closing at 6:00pm on the 9^th and 12^th)

Venue:              11^th Floor, Shinjuku Takashimaya Department Store, Tokyo  

Admission:        800 JPY (Tax included)

                        * Admission free for High-school students and under

* Advance Ticket (700JPY) is available for sale at Services for Members Department at the Sogetsu Headquarters

Ikebana Introductory Lessons

Dates: June 7 (Thu.) - 12 (Tue.), 2012

Time:   ①from 11:00am  ②from 2:30pm  (1 hour/lesson)

Venue:  Near the exhibition hall

Fee:      1000 JPY per person for both adults and children. Materials fee included.

• Reception desk will be open 30 minutes before each lesson, and participants accepted in order of arrival.
• Limited to 20 people each lesson.
