[20th Anniversary]San Jose - South Bay Branch

San Jose - South Bay Branch 20th Anniversary was held with an honored guest, Special Technical Instructor of the Sogetsu Headquarters, Shinichi Akimatsu Sensei. The theme was "Creating with Bamboo” featuring an outdoor group workshop at Hakone Gardens creating large bamboo arrangements, Teoke, and a Take Kanzashi Workshop. Later at a banquet with 200 attendees, Kika Shibata Sensei, West Coast Area Coordinator of Sogetsu North America, and Akimatsu Sensei demonstrated using bamboo in a variety of ways.
