[Workshop] Azalea Study Group

Atsuko Bersma led 2 workshops. Morning workshop was on "ikebana in a frame." While making the arrangement, we had to keep focus on lines. The arrangements had to fit into a frame placed in front of each so that they looked like still life paintings. Afternoon workshop was on "from the floor to table." We started with a big branch that was cut into 2 parts: the lower part was placed under the table and the upper part on the table. The whole had to express tension. Most of the arrangements looked as if the branch went through the table.
