[Workshop] "Weaving Palm Mats" Sonoran Desert Study Group

Pat Kuffler taught us how to weave palm mats by showing how to cut the fan palms, clean the fronds, set up the weaving and do different weaving techniques. While we focused on the basic mat, Pat showed us how to modify the mats to enhance our ikebana designs. Everyone enjoyed learning something different and got ideas to try during our summer break. (Our extremely hot summers here make it difficult to transport materials for workshops.)
