Mr. Tetsunori Kawana visited Vlezenbeek, Belgium for the two-day workshop on March 7-8, 2009 hosted by the Azalea Study Group in Belgium and the Netherlands Branch. The workshops attracted approximately 70 participants from the hosting groups as well as the neighboring European countries and the U.S.A. Subjects from the new curriculum and others such as "Incorporating a floating element in a branch construction, without using kenzan or binding material" were featured in the workshops where participants benefited a lot from Mr. Kawana's energetic teaching style and clear and detailed explanation. Working two days together, the participants from different countries also enjoyed the opportunity for mutual exchange.
