Vancouver Branch displayed ikebana in honour of the Royal visit of the Emperor and Empress of Japan to Canada on July 10, 2009. Branch Director Mrs. Boycott and branch members worked on this exciting group project. The arrangement was approximately 9ft high by 13ft wide, and was displayed in the Richmond Speed Skating Oval. It was a striking display and on view to the general public for 4 days.
