Ikebana Exhibition in Vienna

Dates: April 1-3, 2009

At the Japanese information and culture center in Vienna, "Ikebana20" which was founded by Mrs. Sachiko Schmid in 1997 held their 11 exhibitions from April 1-3, 2009. The exhibition was one of the events organized in 2009 to celebrate the 140th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Japan and Austria. Therefore, the theme of the exhibition was "red and white" which are colors of the national flags. The very successful exhibition was opened by the Japanese ambassador, H.E. Mr. Akio Tanaka.
