The theme of the exhibition was "Let's Try Ikebana". The venue was a lovely setting with its high vaulted Gothic ceiling and giving a wonderful feeling of space. The exhibition attracted a steady flow of visitors over two days. The Trial Corner was hugely popular with many people wanting to have a go. The exhibition was registered as an event of Japan-UK 150 years of diplomatic relations and supported by the Japanese Embassy.
