Teachers’ Workshop (Tokyo)

Teachers' workshop is the highest class for Sogetsu Teachers' Association members where you can learn directly from Iemoto Akane Teshigahara.
This class provides great learning opportunities for those who aim to boost one's sensibility and skills. You would also receive good stimulus from the high-level works by other students from various parts of Japan and the world.

The safety of our visitors and staff are still our priority.
Maintaining some health and safety protocols remains critical to provide a safe environment for visitors and staff of all ages, including those with compromised health and families with children who cannot be vaccinated.
Masks are recommended indoors for everyone. Hand sanitizer stations are available fo your use throughout the building.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Class Overview

The workshops are usually held three days a month, six sessions in all:

Time: Friday (2:00-4:00pm／6:00-8:00pm)
Saturday & Monday (10:30am-12:30pm／2:00-4:00pm)
Venue：Sogetsu Kaikan
Fee for Overseas Sogetsu Members : 12,200 yen (including the material fee) ／ lesson.

Note: The workshops are held in Japanese. If you need language assistance(English), please make reservations at least two weeks beforehand.
