The 106th Sogetsu Ikebana Exhibition, titled “Flowers Reflect the Heart,” will be held at the Main Building 8th Floor Hall of Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C.

This exhibition invites us to return to the essence of ikebana — an art form that gives shape to the heart — as we approach the 100th anniversary of the Sogetsu School. It is an opportunity to reflect on our journey thus far and to take a bold step toward the future.

A special memorial section will also be featured, honoring the late ceramic artist Kiyoyuki Kato, who passed away this January. Discovered by the first Iemoto Sofu and beloved by successive heads of the school, his powerful yet serene vessels will be brought to life through arrangements by Sogetsu teachers. This rare encounter between ikebana and ceramics promises to be deeply moving.

We warmly welcome your visit to the exhibition.
