In the Japanese room on the fifth floor of the Sogetsu Kaikan, seasonal ikebana works are constantly on display for public view.

In the midsummer season, I expressed "coolness" using various kinds of green branches.
Mossy Japanese podocarp and vibrant Japanese jasmine were used to create "movement." Then, Japanese cranberry bush with berries and colored leaves of winged spindle tree were added at the base.
I'll be glad if you also sense the approach of Risshu (the first day of autumn) from this work.
