Ikebanist : Koyo Sasaki

Koyo Sasaki(Master Instructor of Sogetsu HQ)
The branches of the loquat tree, with its large leaves and plenty of yellow fruits at the ends of the branches, were difficult to bend, so I made the best use of its natural branching.
I then combined the peegee hydrangea having leaves that are divided into five protrusions. Since this plant does not absorb water well, I cut the stems under water and rubbed alum into the tips.
I arranged this work with the hope that it helps to clear your mind during the gloomy rainy season.
