In the Japanese room on the fifth floor of the Sogetsu Kaikan, seasonal ikebana works are constantly on display for public view.

I selected an exceptionally long branch of nipplefruit adorned with vibrant green and striking yellow berries. Looking to emphasize their freshness, I arranged them in a horizontal composition. By incorporating a distinctive, splendid branch, the overall design emerged, allowing me to fully appreciate the rich potential of the berries.
Harmonizing these elements with other floral materials, I completed this arrangement, titled “Abundant Autumn.”
