Announcing "Flower Thanks Day" 2025

On Friday, March 27, 2026, we will hold “Flower Thanks Day” to conclude our activities for the 2025 fiscal year.

This important ceremony includes a flower offering (Kenka-shiki) to express our gratitude to the flowers essential to our creative work. It is also a day to honor those who have dedicated themselves to supporting the Sogetsu School through their creation and instruction over the past year.

The highlight of the event will be the announcement of the “Sogetsu Excellence Award of the Year 2025”! From the 110 entries received from Japan and around the world, the winner of our highest honor will finally be revealed.

In addition to attending in person at Sogetsu Hall, we will also provide a free online livestream with simultaneous interpretation in English and Chinese, allowing guests from all over the world to join us.

Let’s come together to express our gratitude to flowers and share the joy of new creativity!
