Ikebanist : Bisei Nonaka

Bisei Nonaka(Instructor of the Sogetsu)
Savoring the winter chill, my thoughts drift to the warmth of spring.
Camellias and Japanese quince, along with the yellow flowering trees that grace the transition from winter to spring—like golden-bells, Japanese witch hazel, and Japanese cornel—are beautiful in their myriad forms.
Hurry, spring, we are eagerly awaiting your arrival...

*For previously displayed works, please visit the Japanese Room Gallery.
