On Hinamatsuri (Girls' Day), the urge to arrange peach blossoms becomes irresistible.

The Hina dolls and their floral companions captivate all those who visit.
I added Magnolia heptapeta and reeves spirea—their firm buds coaxed into bloom by the gentle warmth—to lend an even more celebratory touch to the arrangement.
Spending time in this space during the enchanting season of blooming flowering trees was a truly blissful experience.

*For previously displayed works, please visit the Japanese Room Gallery.
