40th anniversary celebration culminated with a demonstration and workshops by Mr. Sozan
Nakamura, the Master Instructor of the Sogetsu Headquarters assisted by Ms. Seiko
Mishima. Mrs. Chieko Mihori, Branch Advisor and Mrs. Sheila Advani, Instructor each
contributed arrangements. “Arrangements for Celebrations” using Mizuhiki and calligraphy
placards and “Freestyle Arrangements Complementing an Artwork” using original calligraphy
by Sofu Teshigahara were created in workshops.
