Reception to celebrate 70 years of the Diplomatic Relations between Japan and India

The Sogetsu School, New Delhi, presented a special program today to Celebrate 70 years of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Japan and India. The Sogetsu School has celebrated this milestone during their monthly programs this year. This month we presented the finale- a demonstration by some of the teachers at the Japan Foundation Auditorium. Fifteen Ikebana were demonstrated.

Ms Eiko Suzuki, wife of HE The Ambassador of Japan, graced the program as the Chief Guest and the Director General of the Japan Foundation, Mr Koji Sato, was the Guest of Honour. Ms Eiko Suzuki and Mr Koji Sato both gave a short speech after the demonstration.
