News！National Day of Ikebana – Commemorative Session in Brazil

On September 23, 2025, the “National Day of Ikebana” was officially celebrated in Brazil, with the Sogetsu Brasília Branch organizing a ceremony and demonstration.
Sogetsu teacher Zilá da Costa Raymundo participated in the solemn session held at the Chamber of Deputies, presenting her work as a representative of the Sogetsu School.
The venue featured arrangements symbolizing both Brazil and Japan, and small ikebana pieces were also distributed.
This event marked a historic occasion honoring the art of ikebana and the cultural exchange between Brazil and Japan.
