Ikebana International Chapter 17 and the Sogetsu Massachusetts Branch will co-host a special Sogetsu demonstration and a series of workshops featuring Ms. Reito Oizumi, a Master Instructor of the Sogetsu Headquarters.
The events will take place at the Massachusetts Horticultural Society Carriage House in Wellesley, MA.
On May 13, 2026, a demonstration open to II and Sogetsu members will be followed by an afternoon workshop exploring the collaboration of airvase (paper sculpture) and plant materials. On May 14, two Sogetsu‑members‑only workshops will be offered, focusing on the potential of washi and the movement of lines.
