Sogetsu 100 ×Soxiu 60 -Hana no Toki, Ryu(花の時・流）Memorial Exhibition

first lemoto, Sofu Teshigahara, in 1927. To mark this special milestone, the Soxiu Branch, Taiwan,
presents “Sogetsu 100 x Soxiu 60: Hana no Toki• Nagare”, a commemorative special exhibition
celebrating both the 100-year journey of Sogetsu and Branch Head Ms. Hsiu-Chen Hsu’s (徐秀貞女士)
60 years of teaching ikebana.
For six decades, Ms. Hsu has devoted herself to ikebana education, nurturing generations of
students and sharing the freedom and creativity of Sogetsu. Bringing together teachers and students
from different generations, the exhibition will explore how the spirit of Sogetsu continues to
evolve through diverse floral expressions.
From traditional sensibility to contemporary creativity, each work reflects a unique dialogue
between flowers, space, and the individual. Live ikebana demonstrations and musical performances
will further bring flowers and music together, creating a dynamic and inspiring artistic
experience.
“Hana no Toki · Nagare” invites us to experience the beauty of flowers in the moment, and the
ever-changing flow of creativity through generations.
