Announcing the 2025 Sogetsu Excellence Award Nominees!
The "Sogetsu Excellence Award" was established in 2024 to celebrate outstanding talent within our school. For 2025, we received a total of 110 entries from Japan and around the world. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who applied.
Following a rigorous judging process by Iemoto Akane Teshigahara, we are proud to announce the 16 nominated works for the 2025 Sogetsu Excellence Award.

From these nominees, the prestigious “Sogetsu Excellence Award of the Year” will be revealed during the “Flower Thanks Day” ceremony on Friday, March 27.
The ceremony is open to everyone and can be attended in person at the Sogetsu Kaikan / Sogetsu Hall or viewed via a free online livestream.
