Call for Submissions: Your " Ikebana Inspired by the Number 100"!
— Countdown Festival to Sogetsu 100th Anniversary Celebration —
In anticipation of the celebration in 2027, we are excited to announce a special project: "Ikebana Inspired by the Number 100." We are looking for creative and unique Ikebana activities that incorporate the number "100."
Submit your activities through photos or short videos (up to 60 seconds). Your contributions will help color our 100-year celebration! All participants will receive a commemorative gift at the celebration in 2027. This is your chance to showcase your passion for Ikebana!
Submission Theme
We are widely seeking any Ikebana-related activities centered around the number “100.”

Examples:
- Taught Ikebana to 100 people during the period.
- Exhibited Ikebana works 100 times at various events.
- Attended 100 Ikebana lessons during the year.
- “I gave my best with a 100% smile!” …and more!
As long as it involves the number “100,” any format is welcome! We look forward to seeing your creative and imaginative initiatives.
Participant Benefits
Selected photos and videos will be featured on the official Sogetsu Instagram（@sososogetsu）under the series “Ikebana Inspired by the Number 100”. Additionally, participants will receive a commemorative gift at the 100th Anniversary Celebration in 2027.
Eligibility
The representative of the entry must have paid the Sogetsu Teachers’ Association membership fee for 2026.
Activity Period
January 1 (Thursday) – December 31 (Thursday), 2026
Submission Deadline
January 6 (Wednesday), 2027, by 10:00 AM (JST)
