The Sogetsu 100th Anniversary Celebration “Soryu-sai,” the grandest festival celebrating the 100th anniversary of Sogetsu, will be held.

Applications for the Celebration and the Commemorative Party will finally open at noon on June 10th (JST).
We hope that members from all branches, study groups, and classrooms will join us for this spectacular festival, welcoming attendees from all across the globe.

About the Iemoto's Costume/家元衣装について
The special costume the Iemoto will wear at the Celebration is made using “Nihon-Akane” (Japanese madder), a rare dye plant.
With the Iemoto’s vision to incorporate “plant growth”—one of the themes of the 100th anniversary—we have been cultivating Nihon-akane for two years, starting in 2024. The costume dyed with this Japanese madder will be unveiled at the Celebration.
創流祭で家元が纏うのは、希少な染料植物「日本茜」を使った特別な衣装。
100周年のテーマの1つに「植物の成長」を取り入れたいという家元の想いのもと、2024年から2年間にわたり日本茜を育ててきました。創流祭ではその日本茜で染めた衣装を披露します。
