Sogetsu Kaikan Japanese room this week's work(Ikebanist:Tamae Eguchi)
Japanese Room Permanent Ikebana Display
Sogetsu Kaikan 5th floor Japanese room
17 Mar 2025 [mon] - 28 Mar 2025 [fri]
In the Japanese room on the fifth floor of the Sogetsu Kaikan, seasonal ikebana works are constantly on display for public view.
Please drop by.
Ikebanist : Tamae Eguchi
The centerpiece features delicate pale yellow stock and onion. To the right and left, vibrant yellow golden-bells make it seem as if it is reaching gracefully toward the center from a distance. Ultimately, the arrangement highlights the neat and beautiful floral elements at its core.
The flower materials I used this time were buds. What kind of an atmosphere do you envision this ikebana piece creating?
*For previously displayed works, please visit the Japanese Room Gallery.
