This exhibition showcased Sogetsu Ikebana creations by Shiromi Soosaipillai and her
students Asha Vasan, Durga Dev, Deneesha Wickremasinghe, Isawa Kazuko and Luna Bose.
This was Sri Lanka’s maiden dedicated Sogetsu Ikebana exhibition with a total of 52
arrangements. The opening ceromony on 11th November was graced by H.E. Kenichi
Suganuma and Madam Suganuma the Japanese Ambassador of Sri Lanka and Christopher
Lim (Riji) the Singapore based Sensei.
