Pakistan Flower Show 2020

Indus Study Group , which has become official Sogetsu Study Group as of Feburary 2020,  entered The National Horticulture Show 2020 with theme of  “ The legends and folktales from the Indus”.

River Indus runs through the length of Pakistan, agriculture based country,  and many stories span the banks of Indus. The group picked fifteen stories, some of which are very well known and others that were fairly unknown.
A lot of research went in to get the correct stories that were then printed and put up besides the design made by our members.
Both the designs and the stories were very well received by the incoming public, who appreciated the amalgamation of local sagas and Japanese interpretations.

The First lady of Pakistan, Mrs. Samina Alvi visited and acknowledged the work of the members.
