【Report】10 years Concentus Study Group celebration with Saihou Ozono (Concentus Study Group)

We had our international workshop with Saihou Ozono,
it’s been a real success. It’s been a workshop like we have never seen before:
40 participants from 18 countries joined together to learn and to exchange culture.

On day 1 the lesson was creating an arrangement on someone else’s head or body, first 20 people arranged on other 20 people, then roles switched. We hired a professional photographer for the whole event and the day after everyone had a photo of themselves already printed.

For the day 2 workshop, Mr. Ozono had designed three-meter-high installations. We were divided into ten groups of four. Mr. Ozono asked us, given the current situation, to choose a theme for Peace.
None of us could figure out the next step.

After each group illustrated their work (which had been carefully supervised by Mr. Ozono), we were asked to place them all around the one Mr. Ozono had created during his demonstration.
We had to press all the works together, even at the cost of breaking some elements, to create a single piece.
Then we all added three three-meter poles from above, and still all of us, with our hands raised, created a human chain to connect a 20-meter-long mesh tube that the master had colored beforehand.
