【Report】KSSG March- April 2026 100 years celebrations

The Karachi Sogetsu Study Group celebrated the Sogetsu Japan Centennial from 28 March to 4 April 2026, welcoming Mr. Christopher Lim from Singapore.
During his visit, he conducted workshops and a special 100th‑anniversary demonstration, showcasing his mastery of form, balance, space, harmony, movement, and color. The workshops were highly interactive and helped members refine their skills.

A major highlight was the demonstration at the Pearl Continental Hotel Karachi, featuring a finale arrangement with 100 purple‑painted poles and 100 flowers, symbolizing Sogetsu’s 100‑year legacy since its founding by Sofu Teshigahara in 1927.
His Excellency Consul General of Japan, Mr. HATTORI Masaru, honored the event and spoke positively about strengthening Japan–Pakistan economic ties.

We are deeply grateful for the Zakaat contributions received during the program, which supported “Kashana e Atfaal o Naunihaal,” a facility for destitute and orphaned girls and unwanted infants.
