News!! IKEBANA MASTERCLASS BY IEMOTO AKANE TESHIGAHARA

2026 is a significant year for the SINGAPORE SOGETSU ASSOCIATION (SSA) as we celebrate SSA’s 60th anniversary— a milestone honouring six decades of artistry, friendship and giving back.

To celebrate this momentous occasion, we are deeply honoured to have AKANE TESHIGAHARA, Iemoto (Headmaster of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana), Japan, join us in our celebration. SSA has the tradition of channeling ikebana creativity and artistry to support meaningful causes. Over the past 60 years, SSA has supported many local charities through various fund-raising efforts. This year, SSA will be raising funds, from the proceeds received from our 60th anniversary commemorative events and activities, to support the work and activities of CLUB RAINBOW (SINGAPORE).

(A) IKEBANA MASTERCLASS BY IEMOTO AKANE TESHIGAHARA

Eligibility: Members of SSA & overseas Sogetsu branch associations who have completed the curriculum up to Sogetsu Textbook 3 at the minimum
Date : 16 July 2026 (Thursday)
Time : 2 masterclasses:
(1) Morning Session: 10:30 am
(2) Afternoon Session: 2:30 pm
Duration : Each session is approximately 2.5 to 3 hours
Venue : To be announced shortly
Fee : S$250 per person for 1 session

(B) GALA DINNER WITH DEMONSTRATION BY IEMOTO AKANE TESHIGAHARA (Open to Public)
