The 106th Sogetsu Annual Exhibition, the grandest event of the year for the Sogetsu School, took place at Nihombashi Takashimaya S.C., featuring 498 creations split over two periods. As we approach our 100th anniversary in 2027, the exhibition centered on “Flowers are the Heart,” the founding principle of Sogetsu, a school that has continuously used flowers to express human emotions. The display transformed the invisible and ineffable. The Iemoto’s works and all works exhibited in the Special Memorial Section “In Vases by Kato Kiyoyuki” are presented.
