In this memorable year in which we celebrated Iemoto Akane's 20th anniversary, I felt great delight and honor when I encountered the camellia, the first Iemoto Sofu’s favorite flower, and the bamboo closely linked to fond memories of the third Iemoto Hiroshi
With precious recollections of the past Iemotos, I arranged this piece of work wholeheartedly to celebrate the Sogetsu Annual Exhibition held at the Sogetsu Kaikan in this important milestone year.
