Ikebanist : Koka Fukushima

Koka Fukushima(Master Instructor of Sogetsu HQ)
I extracted an exhilarating expression from the bamboo.
After placing the bead tree and the azalea low down to emphasize the circle and the straight line, I added the Japanese quince. Then, I wanted a little more color... so I further added some heliconia, in the same color as the floor plate, for a touch of glamour. The autumn look of the branches was expressed by contrasting it with the vividness of the heliconia.
