Ikebanist : Koso Katayama

Koso Katayama(Master Instructor of Sogetsu HQ)
I created this ikebana work with fruiting plants that I want to use during autumn while being mindful of their unique shapes.
Inspired by the powerful painting "Kareki to Fuji (a withered tree & Mt. Fuji)" by Iemoto Sofu, which has been hanging in the Japanese Room since October, I was pleased to display my arrangement here and expressed my gratitude to all of you through this work.

*For previously displayed works, please visit the Japanese Room Gallery.
