Ikebanist : Yoichi Hinata

Yoichi Hinata(Master Instructor of Sogetsu HQ)
"Letting plants speak for themselves" was the theme of a Sogetsu Annual Exhibition during Iemoto Hiroshi's tenure. Ever since I first encountered that theme, I have been obsessed with it because it perfectly fits my own concept of ikebana.
If you zoom in on one aspect of a plant that has various expressions, the plant will reveal more wonderful looks one after another. All you need to do after that is just add a few touches.

*For previously displayed works, please visit the Japanese Room Gallery.
