The Sogetsu Moscow Branch held the “100 Years of Sogetsu” Exhibition to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Sogetsu School.

A total of 49 members of the Sogetsu Moscow Branch, together with their students, participated in the exhibition, which also featured the works of a group of 21 ceramic artists.

Throughout the exhibition, visitors enjoyed a variety of special programs, including an Ikebana demonstration, a Furoshiki master class titled “The World of Furoshiki,” and a special event celebrating ceramic artists.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ms. Muto, wife of the Ambassador of Japan, Ms. Nakamura, First Secretary of the Information Department, as well as representatives from various organizations and specialists interested in and studying the traditional arts of Japanese culture.

The exhibition provided a valuable opportunity to share the beauty of Ikebana and Japanese traditional arts with the local community while celebrating this significant milestone in Sogetsu history.
