【Report】Demonstration（New Delhi Branch）

This month, a special Sogetsu programme was held under the theme “A Century in Bloom,” as part of Japan Month, organized by the Embassy of Japan.

New Delhi Branch were honored to welcome Mr. Koji Satob, Director of the Japan Foundation, as our Chief Guest.

Ms. Nirmal Nehra presented a demonstration inspired by the theme, creating eight innovative arrangements that explored the possibilities of the coming century. Her works expressed the continuing spirit of Sogetsu, where each generation brings its own imagination and way of seeing nature.

Mr. Koji Satob also gave a short speech, expressing his appreciation for the demonstration and Sogetsu’s continued efforts to promote the art of ikebana.

More than 40 members and guests attended the programme and enjoyed the demonstration, celebrating Sogetsu’s 100-year journey and looking toward its next century of creativity.
